Tenjou Utena (Duelist) - Revolutionary Girl Utena

Costume completed - April 4, 2005

This is the school version of Utena that I already did plus stuff added on to it that magically appeared when she'd sword fight in a duel.

Epilaudettes - The base of these were made from styrofoam in the shape of half a sphere and a ring. This was covered in paperclay, painted and sealed. The white roll tassel things were made from fabric and rolled. These were glued under the epilaudettes which were sewn to the top shoulder.

Various Accessories - The jacket decorations were made from craft foam and painted in gold acrylic paint. I braided the cord and then painted in gold. The rose holder on the left side of the jacket was made from paperclay and the white rose was bought at Hobby Lobby.

Skirt - To make the skirt, I pleated the white material, ironed it, and then sewed it to the jacket top.

Sword of Dios - Made from wood, paperclay, aluminum foil as shown in progress pics.

Total spent - $50.14
