Costume completed - September 16, 2004

This outfit was shown in one of the flashbacks scenes in Final Fantasy VII. I took it upon myself to try and do all of Tifa's outfit. I was more happy to see a detailed version in FF7's prequel Crisis Core, and added that to my costume list.

Hat - This was originally an old hat that my mom had. Since the original color of it was a lot lighter than what the reference was, I used acrylic paint in a burnt umber color to make the color more accurate.

Earrings - The earrings were made out of craft foam and acrylics.

Boots - These were found at a thrift store. I didn't have to do a thing to them.

Top - There's a white undershirt and then the vest that goes over. I was able to find the white top at thrift store. For the vest, I used my Rinoa duster as a guide to make it.

Skirt - The scallop things at the bottom was the hardest part on this. I used the machine to sew that and it took a lot of tedious work.
