I'm a huge Naruto fan. I hated Sakura in the first season, but as she began to mature more after cutting her hair, I liked her more. After the time jump with her fight with Sasori in the manga, I decided to make the costume.

Wig - I bought the wig off an E-bay seller from China Wigs. It was originally a long wig that I cut at Sakura's length and then I made wefts using the hair I had cut to make the wig thicker. I styled it using Got2B styling glue and hairspray.

Top - The top was made using my Tifa AC shirt as a guide. I was really happy with how this shirt came out. I lined the inside with white material and hand sewed the circle to the back using the same white material for the inside.

Armbands and skirt - I used the same material for both of these. I made two flaps for the skirt, added a zipper in between the two. I used some elastic covered with the material at the top to fit my waist. I had gotten the buckles from a belt I found at a thrift store.

Short - These were black sport shorts. I used medical tape for the right side of the leg. For version 2, I used white material for this part.

Bags - The back on the back was made from scratch. I stuffed it with cotton to give it more volume to the shape. The bag on the side of the right leg is really a small cell phone bag painted in black. Later, I changed this to blue since the anime showed as this color. I used pvc leather material around my leg to stay on. in place with that.

Headband - This was bought off E-bay.

Gloves - I bought this pair on E-bay and I altered it to have the collar on the end of the glove.

Shin - I used semi-stretchable black material for this leg part and glued some silver material to the back. I used paperclay on a notion piece to make the buckle like thing on the back of the leg. I made this costume before the anime came out, so it was really hard to tell exactly what they were at the time.

Shoes - These were black boots that I bought from a thrift store. I just cut the toe off.
