Costume completed - April 15, 2005

This is the uniform worn by SeeD's in Balamb Garden and one of my favorite costume designs in the game.

Jacket - I used my Tohru winter uniform as a guide for this pattern. I used maroon material and yellow-gold bias tape for the sleeve collar. I found a maroon tie at a thrift store and used craft foam and acrylic paint for the SeeD design on the tie. A challenge on this costume was me learning how to tie a tie. I had to find a tutorials online before I could do it. The two front flaps were made using the same material as the jacket. I used silver fabric paint to paint the design. I used a white prismacolor to sketch the design prior to painting. I was able to wash off the prismacolor after painting.

Skirt - This was made using my Tifa Nibelheim skirt as a guide. I made the lines on the skirt according to the reference. 

Boots - The boots were same ones that I used for Yuna Summoner.

Glasses - The glasses are my own pair.
