Haku - Naruto

Costume finished – January 31, 2008

Sweater and Pants– These items were made by hand using the same material. I had to sew the lines individually on the wrong side in order to get the ribs on the costume.

Kimono – This was made by hand without a pattern. I used an off-white material for the lining on the kimono.

Obi – I divided this into two different parts: the part around the waist and the tail. A zipper was used for the waist and velcro was used to attach the tail to the back of the obi.

Shoes – The shoes were found at a thrift store and painted with acrylics.

Mask – The mask was made using model magic and acrylic paint.

Bun – This was made using material shaped in a circle and a piece of elastic wrapped in the same material to tie into my hair. The beaded piece was made using beads and wire then painted with acrylics.

Needles – These were the smallest knitting needles that I could find and were painted with sliver acrylic paint.

Total Money Spent - $51.33
